“Fooling around in the papers my grandparents, especially my grandmother, left behind, I get glimpses of lives close to mine, related to mine in ways I recognize but don’t completely comprehend.  I’d like to live in their clothes a while…”

–Wallace Stegner, Angle of Repose

Piles of vintage family photos and a head full of memories….there wasn’t a time when my story wasn’t interwoven with theirs.  Still, understanding the delicate intricacy of a family tapestry takes on a different perspective and a new sense of urgency once everyone is gone.  Remembering lives lived out loud and lives lived fully by strong personalities and vibrant characters.

It’s time to write it down…
